April 12th, 2007 - Johnny Blaze, once a heroic daredevil cycle rider before making a deal with the devil Mephisto for his soul in exchange for the life of his father, now is the Ghost Rider, forced to take on Hell’s worst nightmares. Having recently made the jump to the big screen, now comes to the video game world.
Produced in part by Marvel's dedicated game production division, Garth Ennis and Jimmy Palmiotti penned the game’s storyline, which picks up where the movie left off. Reflecting the stylized action of the comics and film, the high-octane storyline takes Ghost Rider to a large variety of scenes and locations like Quentin Carnival and Caretaker’s Graveyard, then take a ride down the sky scraper that links Earth to the depths of Hell.
The game features on-foot brawling action, full of combos with the hellfire chain and shotgun, against multiple familiar enemies. There is also the Penance Stare, which force criminals to experience emotional pain on par with what they have caused their victims. And no Ghost Rider game would be complete without some high-speed Hell Cycle racing.
The PSP version also offers new levels, bosses and gameplay including Wi-Fi multiplayer and motorcycle deathmatch for up to 4 players.
