  • Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Sequel to make appearance on every game console
May 15th, 2007 - As soon as you heard there was going to be a new Fantastic Four movie, you were guaranteed there’d be a new game to go along with it, to feature the fearless foursome.

The game will feature co-op style brawling, with a focus on combo moves and teamwork, which of course makes sense given the source material. Players will have to control each member of the team in each level, with character-specific obstacles and enemies. Mr. Fantastic can stretch to attack and use his scientific skills, he Invisible Woman will utilize her invisibility and force powers, The Thing uses his massive size and strength, and the Human Torch will use his flaming attacks to inflict damage.

The game features elements from the new movie, but also takes some stories and locales from the comic books to add depth, including a battle in an alien Skrull mine.

The Wii version of the game will make the most of the motion sensitive controller, and both the Wii and PS2 versions will include 4 player co-op play.
