March 11th, 2008 - The results are in. The first series of Guy Ritchie’s Gamekeeper, which introduced readers to the silent hunter known as Brock, was a clean kill. Warner Brothers has acquired the film rights with Joel Silver (The Matrix, Speed Racer, V for Vendetta) attached to produce and Guy Ritchie on board to direct. Now Virgin Comics and Guy Ritchie are back with a brand new story arc.
The second series brings together the writing expertise of Jeff Parker (X-Men: First Class, Interman, Walk In) and the artistic minds of Ron Randall (Star Wars, Star Trek, Outsiders, Trekker) and Ron Chan (Flytrap, A Dummy’s Guide to Danger).
In this new story arc, the announcement of a formula that contains the means to produce cold fusion has brought attention to the small Scottish estate of Glen Morgan. While Brock (aka The Gamekeeper) struggles to stay under the radar, an old acquaintance from the Russian government pulls Brock into the deadly spotlight. But all parties will get more than they bargained for when a team of assassins called “The Soccer Club”, headed by an infamous sharpshooter named “The Raven,” are recruited to take care of Brock. Has Brock finally met his match?
